- AFGHAN URIAL
Hunting the Afghan Urial and the Markhor can be combined in Torghar region. The Afghan Urial, with horns between 28Š and 34Š, may be hunted in the Torghar and Torgbarg Mountains. Amongst countries which allow hunting, this is the region which has the finest trophies and true Afghan Urial. The black & white bib is their characteristics and November thru March is the best hunting months.

- Astore Markhore
The habitat of these animals is in the Gilgit, Skardu and Astor regions of Northern Pakistan in the valleys which branch off from the River Indus. In comparison with the Kashmir, their horns curves are wider. Like the Kashmir, the Astor is in the flare horned Markhor category. It is possible to hunt the Himalayan Ibex and the Markhor in combination.

- Bland ford URIAL
These species live in the hills around Dureji 3 hours from Karachi and close to the Indian Ocean at an altitude of between 1500´ and 3000´. The Bland ford trophies of 26″ to 30″ are possible from species which are solely indigenous to this region. It is possible to obtain superb trophies within a few days while staying in a very comfortable camp.

ALTITUDE OF HUNTING AREA AND TEMPERATURE
Altitude; 1200 + 1350 ft.
At this time of year temperature in the will be “0 – 5”
Therefore the clients need to be well equipped with their oufits. A good quality
Sleeping bag is recommended.
Season: The hunt can take place at any time from November up to March 15.
- HIMALYAN IBEX
The Himalayan Ibex is indigenous to Pakistan Himalayan and Karakurum range. Northern areas can be reach by flight to Gilgit and Skardu as well as Karakurum highway which goes to Southern China. December to March is suitable for lbex as the snow brings them to lower areas. The hunting areas are 9.000’ – 12.000’ and average of this specie 36”- 40” horn lenght.There are several good community managed areas where good trophies can be hunted.

- KASHMIR MARKHORE
This is a specie whose horns are reminiscent of those of the African Kudu and the animals are particularly magnificent with their long hair, specially a long bib and flare horns. These animals are distributed along the Chitral Valley in the northwestern mountains of the Hindu Kush. In this region, they can be hunted within the scope of 3 separate local conservation programmes. Trophies average between 38″ and 42″ and fine ones of up to 45″ can be found. The area is 6000´-7500´ and covered with oak forests which are green all the year round.

- PUNJAB URIAL
Punjab Urial hunt is just opened for hunting in Kalabagh area. Thanks to Malik family whose controls this area. Today, they are in hundreds. The accommodation is in superb Guest house of the family by the Lndus River. The hunting area is rolling hills and December to early March is the best time of the year. 26” – 30” trophies can be expected.

- SINDH IBEX

- SULMAN MARKHORE
The Sulaiman Markhor is found in the Torghar Range in Western Central Pakistan, 7 hours drive from Quetta. In particular the Torghar Mountains are a conservation area and one of the few habitats of the, straight horned Markhor. This project runs successfully by STEP. November thru March is the hunting season. Compare to the other species, they live in a clearer and drier climate at an altitude of between 7500´ and 9000´.
